What is Visualiza MX?
Visualiza MX is a project born from my passion for data, visualizations, and the need to speak —with evidence— about the different realities that coexist in Mexico. It emerges as a space for personal and professional exploration where data analysis, cartography, and visual experience design converge. In its first phase, Visualiza MX functions as a portfolio project, focused on experimenting with tools, methodologies, and narratives based on open data.
However, Visualiza MX goes beyond being a technical exercise. It is a space where, through geospatial data visualizations, the aim is to tell stories that help understand social, territorial, and urban phenomena from a critical and accessible perspective. Each visualization intends to be a gateway to reflect on the inequalities, contrasts, and dynamics that shape the country, using data not only as an analytical input but also as a means to communicate, question, and generate conversation.
